Meet Your Race Directors

Greg & Jennifer Lanctot, husband and wife, team up to make sure your experience at PCTR events is their top priority. Their experiences at hundreds of other trail running events have influenced the way they produce and manage trail runs. Utlrarunners at heart, they know what it takes mentally and physically to make sure you have the resources and support to finish your event from 5K to 100 miles. Jennifer and Greg met on the Coastal View Trail in the Marin Headlands in 2008, and then 6 years later on the Dipsea Trail in 2014 during Jennifer's 10th Quad Dipsea finish. Greg, soon after, proposed atop Cardiac Hill. The love they have for each other, the trails, and post race celebrations defines the new "PCTR". Since taking over as the new owners in 2016, Greg and Jennifer have vowed to make this community stronger than ever while providing unique and memorable experiences. Please join us as we create new races, camping experiences, all while maintaining and building new trails for you to play on. #gorunatrail

Greg Lanctot

(director of PCTR)

KK is an ultra-runner, a mom to two awesome little girls (4 and 6), a self-improvement addict and a general seeker of adventures of all kinds. She serves on the Board of Reclaim Childhood - a non-profit she co-founded back in 2008 - which empowers refugee and local girls and women in Jordan through sport and play. KK ran her first ultra in December 2017 and has been hooked ever since, competing in over 25 trail races and lots of self-supported adventures since. She loves seeking out hard races and adventures where there is a high probability of failure. KK fell in love with the Bay Area Ridge Trail in the spring of 2019 when she paced and crewed two friends doing a circumnavigation of the Bay. While pacing and running over 200 miles of the trail herself and being hungry for more, she decided she wanted to come back to do the full thing herself. She could not be more excited to make that dream a reality with Greg and the PCTR team while also supporting the Bay Area Ridge Trail and all the amazing work they do to make trails accessible to all! She is happiest when outside (preferably in the mountains!) and moving (preferably downhill with dancing tunes!) and with a running pack full of candy and with the people she loves. She loves maple-frosted donuts, teriyaki seaweed, and everything-but-the-bagel seasoning on everything.
